Singer Hwang Youngwoong has once again claimed first place in the Netizen Awards Fanbook rankings for May 2025, receiving a remarkable 91,828 votes, accounting for 23.8% of total votes. After joining the prestigious ‘100,000 votes club’ in April, Hwang’s dominance continues into May, showcasing the unwavering dedication of his fanbase.

Rivalries Heat Up in the Race for No.1

In second place was trot singer Jung Seoju, who garnered 75,311 votes (19.5%). Her rising popularity is gradually narrowing the gap between her and Hwang, setting the stage for a fierce showdown in the June finals. With both artists backed by passionate fandoms, fans are anticipating another close race.

Rising Star Jeong Subin Shakes Up the Rankings

A surprise shakeup came from Jeong Subin, who rocketed to third place with 33,040 votes (8.6%). The surge reflects the increasing organization and enthusiasm within her fan community, marking her as a potential rising star in the K-pop scene.

Newcomers and Familiar Faces Round Out the Top 10

Park Jihyun took fourth place with 27,929 votes (7.2%), followed by actress Kim Hye-yoon in fifth with 23,856 votes (6.2%). Despite hailing from the acting world, Kim continually places high in this primarily music-focused contest—proof of her strong fanbase.

Coming in sixth was Son Taejin (23,312 votes, 6.1%), followed by Enoch (19,373 votes, 5.0%), Binnie Seo (15,815 votes, 4.1%), Liberante (13,957 votes, 3.6%), and My Jin (13,942 votes, 3.6%).

Intense Mid-Tier Battle and Broad Participation

The rankings from 11th to 20th also showcased a wide array of talent: Jang Minho (11,789 votes), Fortena (10,618), Byun Wooseok (6,929), Jung Dongwon (5,236), Song Gain (3,008), Cho Yongpil (2,518), Rowoon (2,035), Jung Somin (2,030), Jannabi (1,583), and Um Taegoo (1,146).
