Hwang Youngwoong wins first place in the 2025 Netizen Awards with over 94,000 votes, marking his 13th consecutive monthly victory. Fans’ emotional connection played a huge role in his consistent success.

Hwang Youngwoong Rises Again to the Top Spot

In June 2025, the first-half finals of the Netizen Awards created another milestone in fan-powered success stories. At the heart of it all was singer Hwang Youngwoong, who claimed first place in the ‘Best Male Artist’ category with an overwhelming 41.4% of the vote—totaling 94,452 ballots. Though he narrowly missed breaking the 100,000-vote barrier, he secured his place in the elite ’90K Club’ and maintained the top spot for 13 consecutive months.

The Competition: A Tight Race for the Top 10

Park Jihyun followed in second place with 25,368 votes (11.1%), thanks to steady support from her loyal fanbase. Third place went to Son Taejin with 22,584 votes (9.9%), maintaining his position as a recurring top-tier contender. Enok placed fourth (15,203 votes, 6.7%) and showed growing momentum, while Jinwon rounded out the top five with 12,591 votes (5.5%).

The sixth spot went to Seo Youngtaek (12,247 votes, 5.4%), closely followed by Jang Minho in seventh (12,192 votes, 5.3%). Eighth through tenth places included Hong Isaac (8,359 votes, 3.7%), Park Changgeun (6,581 votes, 2.9%), and Jeong Dongwon (5,974 votes, 2.6%). These artists demonstrated the power of dedicated fanbases to sustain ranking over time.

From 11th to 20th: Passion Beyond the Numbers

The remainder of the top 20 included names like Park Seojin, Ahn Seonghoon, Kang Hyungho, Youngtak, and Park Hyoshin. Some big names such as G-Dragon and BTS’s Jin also made the list, albeit with fewer votes, showing that fan love extends beyond rankings.

More Than Just Numbers: A Journey of Connection

Hwang Youngwoong’s continued reign at the top signifies more than just numerical dominance—it is a testament to the authentic connection between artists and fans. For his supporters, it wasn’t just about the result, but about witnessing his comeback journey and responding to his unwavering sincerity.

This monthly ranking isn’t merely a list of statistics—it’s a story told by fans and stars alike. Shared moments such as games on stage or playful banter become treasured memories, spreading positive energy throughout the fan community. As one fan put it, “We don’t just vote—we live each moment together.”

At its heart, the Netizen Awards showcases how fan passion can shape an artist’s legacy, one month at a time.
