Hyolyn Throws Surprise Fan Event for ‘YOU AND I’

K-pop soloist Hyolyn surprised fans with a guerrilla fan signing event in Seoul, celebrating her new single 'YOU AND I'. From heart-to-heart chats to live singing and a coffee truck, the event was packed with sweet memories.

Hyolyn Reunites with Fans at Pop-Up Fan Meet

K-pop powerhouse Hyolyn lit up fans’ summer with an unexpected but unforgettable fan signing event at COEX in Seoul. Held on July 19, this guerrilla-style meet-and-greet celebrated the release of her latest single ‘YOU AND I’, bringing her face-to-face with loyal fans for the first time in a while.

“What Can I Do with Fans?”—Hyolyn Wanted It Personal

The event was Hyolyn’s own idea, a heartfelt gesture born from her desire to reconnect with fans, known affectionately as BAE. Before diving into autographs and selfies, she greeted everyone warmly: “My new song dropped on July 15, and I was thinking, ‘What could I do with fans?’ That’s how this fan signing came about. I hope you have a great time.”

Live Vocals, Eye Contact, and One-on-One Moments

True to her reputation as a performer, Hyolyn didn’t stop at just signing posters. She made eye contact with every fan, shared brief but meaningful conversations, and topped it all off with an impromptu live performance of ‘YOU AND I’. The reaction? Electric.

Coffee, Anyone? Hyolyn’s Treat to Fans

As if the personal attention and live music weren’t enough, she also arranged a coffee truck on-site—a K-pop fan event staple—to keep everyone cool and caffeinated. “This was all about getting closer to the fans,” her agency ReH shared. “Hyolyn will continue finding new ways to connect.”

‘YOU AND I’: A Love Letter in Song Form

Hyolyn took creative reins on her new track, writing and composing the sensual, rhythm-filled song herself. Unlike her previous high-energy hits, ‘YOU AND I’ showcases a softer, more honest vibe—proof that even power divas can turn down the volume and still dazzle.

What’s Next for the Queen Bae?

She’s not slowing down. Hyolyn is currently appearing as a master on Mnet’s ‘Boys Planet 2’, airing Thursdays and Fridays, and is set to hit multiple festivals across Korea. Looks like this summer belongs to her.
