IDID—made up of members Jang Yonghun, Kim Minjae, Park Wonbin, Chu Yuchan, Park Sunghyun, Baek Junhyuk, and Jung Semin—will make their global debut on August 2 during the M COUNTDOWN stage.
“It’s our first time performing on such a big stage. Of course we’re nervous, but we’re even more excited,” the group shared via KCON’s official social media. “We’re bringing high energy and IDID-style charisma. Get ready—we’re going to tear it up.”
From ‘STEP IT UP’ to Stepping Out
IDID impressed fans with their vibrant energy and catchy flow in ‘STEP IT UP’, a track that fuses high-teen vibes with hip-hop swagger. They’ve already appeared on major Korean music shows like M Countdown, Music Bank, Show! Music Core, and Inkigayo Summer Special, proving their all-rounder chops way ahead of their official debut.
This KCON appearance is a meaningful milestone for the group, as it marks their first performance in front of a global audience. Fans are already buzzing, with many seeing this as the birth of a potential next-gen K-pop sensation.
Debut Album and Showcase Coming Soon
The official debut is set for September 15, with the release of their first mini album ‘I did it.’. On the same day, IDID will hold their debut showcase at Yes24 Live Hall in Seoul. It’s the full-circle moment they—and their growing fandom—have been waiting for.
Backed by Starship Entertainment, known for producing acts like MONSTA X and IVE, IDID isn’t just a boy group—they’re the company’s next major bet. The group was formed through the ambitious ‘Debut’s Plan’ project, designed to highlight idols with not just talent, but versatility and stage presence.
