ITZY Announces Japanese Comeback with ‘Collector’ Album

K-pop supergroup ITZY is set to release their second full-length Japanese album, 'Collector,' featuring 10 new tracks including ‘Rock & Roll.’

ITZY’s Japanese Comeback is Official

K-pop powerhouse ITZY is gearing up for a high-energy return to the Japanese music scene. The five-member girl group announced they’ll be dropping their second full-length Japanese album, Collector, on October 8. It’ll be their first album in Japan in over a year, following the May 2024 release of their third Japanese single, Algorhythm.

What’s in the Album?

Collector will feature a total of 10 tracks, including the newly teased song “Rock & Roll”. The title hints at a bold, rebellious concept, and fans are already buzzing online to see how ITZY will blend their signature girl-crush energy with Japanese musical flair.

Visual Teasers Have Fans Hyped

On August 22, the group dropped their first concept photo through their official Japanese SNS channels. Yeji, Lia, Ryujin, Chaeryeong, and Yuna each stunned in unique looks, showing off what fans are calling “5 members, 5 charms.” Their chic visuals and charismatic poses are already making the rounds on social media.

From Taiwan to Macao—And Now Japan

ITZY has been busy building their global presence. Earlier this month on August 2, they made a surprise appearance at the Taipei Dome for a ceremonial pitch and special stage, exciting local fans. On August 23, they’ll hit the stage at the 2025 TIMA (TMELive International Music Awards) held at Macao Galaxy Arena.

Then in October, they’ll hold their first-ever Japanese fan meeting, ‘ITZY The 4th Fan Meeting – ON AIR’, on October 11 and 12 in Tokyo. That’s right—this is ITZY’s first solo fan meeting in Japan, marking a milestone moment in their international journey.

Mark Your Calendars

ITZY’s Japanese album Collector officially drops on October 8, and if early reactions are any sign, it might just become one of their most celebrated projects yet in Japan.

Fan tip: Pre-orders are already available in Japan and selected international K-pop stores, so real MIDZYs (ITZY’s fandom) know what to do!
