K-pop supergroup IVE (members: An Yujin, Gaeul, Rei, Jang Wonyoung, Liz, and Leeseo) just dropped a jaw-dropping second concept photo set for their upcoming mini-album ‘IVE SECRET’, and the internet is understandably losing it.
Released via Starship Entertainment’s official SNS on July 16, the photos showcase each of the six members in drastically different styles—proving once again why they’re the reigning ‘MZ wannabe icons,’ a Korean buzzword for Gen MZ (Millennials + Gen Z) trendsetters.
Visual Game: Next Level
While their earlier mood sampler hinted at mystery and elegance, this second round of images amps up the individuality. An Yujin gave fierce with icy charisma, Gaeul rocked a curly hair transformation, Rei served unique signature visuals, Wonyoung pulled off a lovable bang look, Liz stunned in pastel pink hair, and Leeseo proved she’s a photogenic queen.

XOXZ — A Title Track with Teeth
The much-anticipated title track ‘XOXZ’ blends 808 bass, bold brass, and heavy drumlines with low-toned raps and a minimal vocal hook—an edgy contrast that’s already turning heads. The lyrics? Co-written by iconic songwriter Seo Ji-eum and member Jang Wonyoung—yes, that Jang Wonyoung—this one’s fueled by both star power and artistry.
IVE’s Relentless Rise in K-pop
IVE launched in December 2021 with ‘ELEVEN’ and haven’t let up since. After chart-topping tracks like ‘LOVE DIVE’ and ‘After LIKE,’ the group scored a 5x million-seller streak with their third EP ‘IVE EMPATHY’. Pre-release single ‘REBEL HEART’ even achieved a Perfect All-Kill (PAK) across major music charts in Korea. Translation: domination mode, activated.
In June, IVE hit the Lollapalooza stage—one of the big four global music festivals—and impressed fans in Paris and Berlin along the way. Global queens, anyone?
