ifeye Returns with Second Mini-Album ‘sweet tang’

K-pop’s fast-rising rookie group ifeye (members: Kashya, Rahee, Won Hwayeon, Sasha, Taerin, Miyu) made a strong return just three months after their debut. On July 16, the group held a media showcase at Blue Square SOL Travel Hall in Hannam-dong, Seoul, to celebrate the release of their second mini-album ‘sweet tang’.

A New Chapter in their Coming-of-Age Story

The new album, titled ‘Wave: Nang Pt.2 – sweet tang’, is the next installment in ifeye’s conceptual storytelling. It continues the narrative of growth and self-discovery, placing its young protagonists in the center of an emotional and artistic journey through adolescence—what they describe as a ‘romantic saga of the 5th generation’.

‘r u ok?’—A Stylish and Meaningful Title Track

The album’s title track ‘r u ok?’ captures ifeye’s signature blend of style and emotional depth. Though it sounds like a powerful dance song at first, intricate instrumentals and carefully crafted beats lie just beneath the surface, promising a sound that is both energetic and emotionally resonant.

2025’s Standout Rookies Looking to Impress

Following their debut single ‘NERDY’, released only three months ago, their quick turnaround with ‘sweet tang’ proves their ambition to cement their position as one of 2025’s breakout acts. The group is drawing attention for revealing a more refined, mature artistic identity with this comeback.

Release Details

Fans can catch the new release starting at 6 PM KST on July 16 through major online music platforms. With increasing anticipation for their evolving artistry and narrative, ifeye’s journey seems poised to make waves in the K-pop world.
