KARD Serves Up Chaos and Charisma on ‘BYOB’

K-pop co-ed group KARD brought their A-game—and laughs—to YouTube variety show ‘BYOB’, earning ingredients through quirky challenges and promoting their latest single 'Touch.'

KARD Brings Their Signature Vibe to YouTube Variety ‘BYOB’

If you thought KARD only knew how to slay on stage, think again. The ultra-cool co-ed K-pop group—BM, J.Seph, Jeon Somin, and Jeon Jiwoo—brought their chaotic good energy to YouTube variety series ‘BYOB’ on June 25. And yes, tacos were involved.

Cooking Challenges with a Side of Hilarity

In a game-style format, the members had to win ingredients for a taco feast by completing wild missions. Taking the reins as a special MC in place of the usual host Park Junhyung, BM added what can only be described as lovable chaos. Jeon Jiwoo kicked things off strong, choosing cabinet number 19—KARD’s debut date, July 19—and pulling out an octopus. That’s commitment to narrative.

Despite perfect teamwork in challenges like curling (yes, curling), BM repeatedly ended up with ingredients that had absolutely nothing to do with tacos—earning him plenty of side-eye and laughs. Fortunately, a dazzling performance of their new song “Touch” scored them a secret weapon: a chance to swap ingredients. Redemption arc unlocked—BM finally snagged some savory samgyeopsal (Korean grilled pork belly).

‘Touch’ Talk and Tour Teasers

During a cozy post-cookout chat, BM revealed that he had a major hand in creating ‘Touch’, taking on arrangement, composition, and lyrics alongside the other members. “We all wrote the lyrics together,” he shared.

Somin chimed in about what sets KARD apart: “Our co-ed combo gives our music and performances more variety. That’s our biggest strength.” Jiwoo teased their next big move—a world tour starting in Seoul. Definitely one for global Hidden Kard fans to mark on their calendars.

KARD’s Global Wave Keeps Rising

The group kicked off their ‘KARD 2025 WORLD TOUR: DRIFT’ with a sold-out show at Yes24 Wonder Rock Hall in Seoul on July 19. With a new mini album, sharp choreography, and playful TV moments like these, KARD is proving once again why they’re the global co-ed group to watch.

Whether it’s a sizzling stage or a taco showdown, the message is clear: KARD doesn’t just perform—they entertain. Catch them on their tour stop near you, and maybe bring some guac.
