JYP Says Health Comes First
In an official statement, JYP shared, “Amal has been experiencing psychological anxiety and, after undergoing counseling and medical evaluation, it was advised that he focus on rest and treatment.” The agency emphasized that the decision was made in agreement with Amal and the other KickFlip members, prioritizing his overall well-being.
“He will not be participating in any upcoming schedules starting today. We ask for fans’ understanding and support as he recovers, and we’ll provide updates on his return when appropriate,” the statement continued.

KickFlip debuted in January 2024 under JYP Entertainment as a seven-member boy group. Known for their sharp choreography and youthful style, they’ve steadily built a fanbase since their debut. The group is scheduled to drop their third mini album, ‘My First Flip,’ on September 22.
