Kim Jihoon Tops May’s Netizen Awards with Unwavering Support
Kim Jihoon of K-pop group Libelante has clinched the top spot in the May Netizen Awards’ ‘Neo Star’ category for singers, earning 18,649 votes (24.0%). This marks his fifth consecutive monthly win, proving that his fandom’s continued support is more than just a trend—it’s a result of enduring trust built over time.
Performance Beyond the Stage
Kim Jihoon’s appeal lies not only in his vocals but in his growing presence as a next-generation artist. Every month, his influence is quantified by votes, weaving a compelling narrative alongside his fans.
Strong Contenders on the Rise
This month’s standout contender was Austin Kim of the group Forténa, who secured second place with 16,161 votes (20.8%). Following a similar vote count from April, his upward momentum places him firmly among the top-tier Neo Star nominees.
Son Bina made a noteworthy leap into third place with 11,031 votes (14.2%). This is the first time he has crossed the 10,000-vote mark since joining the Netizen Awards, signaling a significant turning point in his journey with fans.

Other rankings included Minsu Hyun in fourth with 9,075 votes (11.7%) and Jinwook in fifth with 5,333 votes (6.8%). Kim Jungyeon (3,388), Yoo Chaehun (2,834), and Lee Seungyoon (2,652) followed closely, ranking sixth to eighth. Lee Solomon claimed ninth place (2,298), while Kim Yongbin rounded out the top 10 with 2,117 votes.

From 11th to 16th place, artists such as Jo Minkyu, Nam Seungmin, Park Minsu, Choi Jaemyung, Playave’s Eunho, and Yang Ji-won gathered votes ranging from a few hundred to just over a thousand. Emerging names like Cheon Rokdam, Lee Donggyu, MiaI, and Kiki completed the top 20.
