Back in the Spotlight

Ko Woorim—yes, the same Ko Woorim lovingly known as figure skating queen Kim Yuna’s husband—is officially back. After completing his military service in May, the Forestella vocalist is ready to shift gears and hit the accelerator on his music career.

First Photoshoot, First Statement

Ko Woorim recently teamed up with Allure Korea for a striking pictorial under the theme “BRIGHT DESIRES.” The shoot radiates warmth and sophistication, showcasing not just fashion, but his artistic rebirth post-duty.

“I was desperately waiting to perform again with Forestella,” he shared in the interview, expressing how much the stage means to him. At 30, Woorim says he’s entering a new emotional era, promising, “I want to run more freely and powerfully.”

A New Era for Forestella

With Forestella back in full formation, the group dropped their new single “Everything”—a heartfelt tribute to fans who patiently waited during his service. “It reveals a new side of my voice and is our serenade to the fans who’ve always loved us,” he said.

He added, “We’re aiming to showcase Forestella at a higher level than ever before.” Fans can expect even more refined artistry as the group evolves.

From Soldier to Star—And Still Rising

Woorim hasn’t wasted a second since his return. He wrapped his solo fan meeting, Rainforest, with success and has been actively preparing for live shows. Forestella’s tour “THE WAVE” already hit major cities like Seoul, Busan, and Daegu this summer, proving the quartet is more than ready to ride the Hallyu wave again.

Naturally, expectations are high for Woorim, who’s known as one of Korea’s most recognized bass vocalists. His goal for this new chapter? In his own humble words: “To become a better, cooler person.”

Looking Forward

From military uniforms to tailored suits, Ko Woorim’s transformation isn’t just visual—it’s vocal, emotional, and personal. As fans await more from Forestella, one thing’s clear: Ko Woorim is back, bolder and brighter than ever.
