K-pop girl group LE SSERAFIM has embarked on a new musical journey with their fifth mini-album ‘Hot’, released on the 14th at a showcase in Yes24 Live Hall, Seoul. Shifting from their chic image, the group introduces a melodious and emotional album. The title track, ‘Hot’, blends rock and disco into a pop genre, delivering a lyrical melody contrary to its intense title. Member Kim Chaewon expressed a desire for the group to become known for its versatile music range. This album is the final chapter of a trilogy following ‘Easy’ and ‘Crazy’. It includes tracks like ‘Born Fire’, ‘Come Over’, and ‘So Cynical’. For the first time since their debut, LE SSERAFIM explores the emotion of love, aiming for a slot in the Billboard ‘Hot 100’. The music video features unique 360-degree camera work and fisheye lens shots, adding visual intrigue. The group plans to start their first world tour next month, taking them across Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Thailand. Reflecting on the journey, member Sakura emphasizes valuing the process over results.
