Global Music Powerhouses Join Forces in Incheon This September

[CBC News] The much-anticipated international music event, LOVE CHIPS FESTIVAL 2025, has revealed its highly anticipated second artist lineup, further intensifying fan excitement across Asia.

Set to take place on September 6 and 7 at the Sangsang Platform Outdoor Plaza in Incheon, the festival is hosted by LOVE CHIPS INTERNATIONAL Inc. and supported by the Incheon Tourism Organization. This large-scale live music event has quickly gained traction as one of the standout festivals of the year.

Japanese Rock Legends and Rising Stars Take the Stage

Among the latest additions, Japan’s iconic rock band Dragon Ash stands out. Making their highly anticipated return to Korea after 17 years, the band last performed at Seo Tae-ji’s ETP FESTIVAL in 2008—making this a nostalgic comeback for long-time fans.

Joining the lineup are more of Japan’s rock vanguards: punk rock heroes ELLEGARDEN’s guitarist Shinichi Ubukata and his project Nothing’s Carved In Stone, high-energy bands like ENTH, HIKAGE, and PROMPTS, each injecting thrilling diversity into the festival roster.

Korean Rock Heavyweights Amplify Home Crowd Hype

From Korea’s side, revered rock groups like Sonic Stones and The Sound will also stir up the stage. Their intense live performances are expected to electrify the home audience and introduce foreign attendees to Korea’s vibrant rock scene.

First Lineup Already Packed with Stars

Previously announced artists include Korea’s beloved singer-songwriter Lee Juck, Japanese metalcore band Crystal Lake, Nagasaki’s punk trio SHANK, K-rock idol band FTISLAND, the rising indie stars Touched, and fan-favorite band Romantic Punch.

The festival also features trailblazers from the pop-punk world: veteran band GUMX, Korea’s own RIOT KIDZ, the trending Japanese female rock band SABASISTER, and newcomers Hi-Fi Un!corn, a Korean-Japanese collaborative act that debuted in both countries.

A Festival with a Message

With the theme “One Step Toward a Better World”, LOVE CHIPS FESTIVAL 2025 aims to go beyond music, emphasizing cultural exchange, community impact, and emotional connection between artists and attendees. Through unforgettable live performances in scenic surroundings, the organizers aspire to create a multisensory experience that uplifts and unites.

General admission tickets will go on sale starting July 10 at 2 PM (KST) via Interpark NOL TICKET. As the heat of summer winds down, the festival promises to end the season on a high note with world-class acts under the open skies of Incheon.
