Starship Unveils Ambitious Debut Timeline for IDID
South Korean entertainment powerhouse Starship Entertainment has announced that their newest K-pop boy group, IDID, will make its official debut on September 15. The group was formed through Starship’s large-scale project Debut’s Plan and includes seven members: Jang Yonghoon, Kim Minjae, Park Wonbin, Chu Yuchan, Park Sunghyun, Baek Junhyuk, and Jung Semin.
First Mini Album: I did it.
According to Starship’s statement on July 17, IDID’s debut will be marked by the release of their first mini album titled I did it. The album reflects the group’s journey to this point and their readiness to step into the spotlight. Concept photos and teaser videos introduced keywords like “Ice,” “Blue,” “Sunglitter,” “Water,” “Goodvibes,” “Fresh,” and “Energy,” themes that fans can expect to see throughout their debut era.
Countdown to Pre-Debut Begins
On July 16, a 20-second time table teaser video featuring IDID members was posted on their official social media, previewing a curated schedule leading up to their pre-debut on July 24 at 6 PM KST. Against the backdrop of a shimmering bicycle wheel, the video revealed dates and titles such as “7.18 Follow the Trace,” “7.21 Album Pre-Order Fly High! IDID!,” and “7.24 IDID Pre-debut.” These snippets sparked intrigue with their cinematic visuals and nostalgic flashes of IDID’s concept footage.

IDID is set to make waves as a 5th generation K-pop idol group with a bold and fast-paced debut strategy. By building anticipation through their pre-debut timeline and creative storytelling approach, the group aims to set themselves apart in a highly competitive industry.
