NEXZ Is Back in the Ring—Literally
Rookie K-pop group NEXZ is gearing up for a bold return—and they’ve brought their animated fighter along for the ride. The group just dropped a new teaser video titled ‘Hit the Beat!’ for their upcoming third mini-album ‘Beat-Boxer’, set to release on October 27 at 6PM KST.
Meet the Mischievous Mascot: FOX2Y
The spotlight-stealing character this time is FOX2Y, the group’s signature animation-style mascot. Dressed in striking red boxing gear, FOX2Y appears in the video taking down a speaker-shaped punching bag in the middle of a cityscape—channeling the fierce energy of NEXZ’s upcoming sound. The dramatic destruction ends with a victorious pose, teasing viewers with what “Beat-Boxer” might bring sonically. Symbolic? Absolutely. Over-the-top? Naturally. K-pop fans wouldn’t have it any other way.
Six Months Since ‘O-RLY?’
This comeback marks around six months since NEXZ’s last album, ‘O-RLY?’, which dropped in April. Fans have been eagerly waiting for what the next chapter holds, and “Beat-Boxer” seems ready to deliver in both concept and sound.
Revving Up with ‘Beat Breakers Club’
Leading up to the album drop, NEXZ is set to launch a special event called the ‘Beat Breakers Club’ on October 3 at 9PM KST. And that’s not all—dedicated fans can look forward to a two-day concert titled ‘ONE BEAT’ on October 25–26, marking NEXZ’s very first solo concert in Korea since debuting. Talk about going full throttle.
Comeback, But Make It Personal
With quirky promo content, a loaded release schedule, and a title that practically dares you to dance, “Beat-Boxer” is shaping up to be more than just a comeback—it’s a full-blown statement. Whether it’s through their music or their mascot, NEXZ is clearly punching above their rookie weight.
