NOWZ Showcases New Album at First Anniversary Showcase
Rookie K-pop group NOWZ held a media showcase on July 9 at YES24 Live Hall in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul to celebrate the release of their first mini album, IGNITION. The event featured a high-energy performance of the album’s title track ‘EVERGLOW’, setting the tone for this new chapter in their career.
‘IGNITION’ Sparks a New Beginning
Consisting of five tracks, the mini album encapsulates the concept of “ignition”—symbolizing both a fiery passion and a meaningful fresh start. Through this project, NOWZ aims to inspire today’s youth by embracing moments of vulnerability and turning them into fuel for self-growth.
‘EVERGLOW’: A Message of Undying Passion
The title track ‘EVERGLOW’ blends dynamic electric guitar riffs with a powerful metal sound, infusing elements of alternative rock. Its lyrics convey a powerful message: “Like a flame that continues to burn even in ashes, we won’t let ourselves be extinguished.” The song reflects NOWZ’s relentless spirit as they push forward despite challenges.
Rebranding and a Rising Future
Marking their first anniversary since debuting, NOWZ recently changed their group name and unveiled a more defined identity. With this rebranding, the group signals their ambition to rise as one of K-pop’s next big names.
NOWZ’s debut mini album IGNITION officially drops on music platforms at 6 p.m. on July 9.
