NOWZ Expands Global Reach with New Chinese-Language Track
On June 22, Cube Entertainment unveiled a teaser poster for the Chinese version of rookie boy group NOWZ’s pre-release single, “Fly Freely (Feat. YUQI)”, through its official channels. The track is a part of NOWZ’s upcoming debut mini album, IGNITION.
Youthful Imagery Meets Motivational Messaging
The poster, depicting two hands tightly clasped under a clear blue sky, carries the phrase “Keep moving forward, don’t look back”—a visual and emotional representation of NOWZ’s coming-of-age message.
The single will be released on June 23 at 6 PM KST through various music streaming platforms. The Chinese version was specially produced as a gift for their growing international fanbase, DAY& (the group’s fandom name). As part of the group’s global marketing push, the choreography challenge for “Fly Freely” has already gone viral on Douyin, the Chinese version of TikTok, sparking further anticipation.
Collaborating with K-pop’s Powerhouse, Yuqi
The track, which features and is produced by (G)I-DLE’s Yuqi, is a pop anthem built around a captivating guitar riff. Lyrically, it explores themes of uncertainty, self-doubt, and the search for purpose—resonating with youth navigating the complexities of growing up.
First Mini Album ‘IGNITION’ Drops This July
NOWZ, made up of members Hyunbin, Yoon, Yeonwoo, Jinhyuk, and Siyoon, will officially debut with their first mini album IGNITION on July 9. Following the release of the Chinese single, the group is expected to amplify its presence both domestically and overseas.
