The Indie Darlings Are Back with a Bang
K-indie band Peppertones (Shin Jaepyeong and Lee Jangwon) just wrapped their 2025 club tour, and if sold-out signs across six cities weren’t a big enough clue—they’re still riding that high-energy wave.
A Tour That Hit All the Right Notes
The ‘2025 PEPPERTONES CLUB TOUR’ kicked off in Seoul before cruising through Daegu, Busan, Jeonju, Gwangju, and wrapped up in Incheon on May 26–27 at the futuristic Tribowl venue. All eight shows? Completely sold out. Again.
This marks yet another success in the band’s ongoing tradition of club tours, a ritual they’ve kept alive since 2012—where good vibes and live melodies go hand in hand.
Setlist with All the Feels
Peppertones opened their concert with the instrumental version of Late Summer Sky, setting a nostalgic tone before shifting gears with the energetic Eye of the Typhoon and Squeeze Burnt.
Fans were also treated to High and Deneb — tracks from the SBS drama Cheer Up — where Peppertones served double duty as music directors and vocalists. Talk about multitasking.
From Past Hits to Youthful Promises
Classics like FOOL, I Don’t Know, and Park Travel got the crowd singing along, while youth anthems New Hippie Generation and Riders doubled as a musical scrapbook of their journey.
The duo kept energy levels sky-high until the final set, blasting out uptempo favorites like FAST, New Standard, and Shine. Their encore? A more emotional sendoff featuring the sentimental Good Luck and fan-favorite A Day in the 21st Century.
Still More to Come
Fans won’t have to wait long to see Peppertones again. The band is slated to perform at major festivals this summer, including the JUMF 2025 Jeonju Ultimate Music Festival on August 17 and 2025 Let’s Rock Festival on September 6.
For a band that made their name on warm lyrics and radiant optimism, Peppertones continue to prove that indie energy can fill arenas—and hearts.
