PRISMFILTER Teams Up with Seoul Institute of the Arts to Nurture K-pop Talent

PRISMFILTER, a leading K-pop music publishing company, has partnered with Seoul Institute of the Arts to train future music professionals through collaborative projects including songwriting camps and artist development programs.

Powering the Next Generation of K-pop Creators

PRISMFILTER, a prominent player in the K-pop industry and a self-described ‘content accelerator,’ has officially signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Seoul Institute of the Arts.

Fostering Real-World Learning Experiences

The collaboration will kick off a co-run curriculum involving songwriting camps, artist development programs, joint content production, and advancements in next-gen tech for the entertainment industry. The goal? To provide hands-on opportunities for aspiring creatives at Seoul Institute of the Arts and cultivate future talent for the K-pop world.

Who is PRISMFILTER?

Established in 2016, PRISMFILTER has risen to become one of Korea’s top music publishing companies. Best known for working with high-profile K-pop acts like SEVENTEEN, (G)I-DLE, TWS, and BOYNEXTDOOR, the company delivers hit productions while also expanding into artist management and content creation.

Their recent success with the girl band QWER further cemented their reputation. QWER’s breakout hit song “Gominjungdok” (translated as ‘Addicted to Worry’) landed the No.1 spot on YouTube Korea’s 2024 most popular songs list. PRISMFILTER was also behind smash hits like (G)I-DLE’s ‘I Do Not Like Being Sick’ and TWS’s ‘The First Meeting Didn’t Go As Planned.’

CEO’s Vision for the Partnership

Lee Gi-yong, CEO of PRISMFILTER, shared his excitement about the partnership, stating, “We want to work on a variety of projects with students who have both talent and passion. It’s all about lowering the entry barriers to the entertainment industry and creating real chances for newcomers to debut. We aim to grow into strong partners with Seoul Institute of the Arts through fresh and creative endeavors.”

With a solid track record and future-focused mindset, PRISMFILTER is not only shaping trends, but now helping shape tomorrow’s stars.
