QWER Hits 8 Million Views with ‘Car Stage’ as New Album Tops Charts

K-pop girl band QWER is gaining massive traction with their unique 'QWER CAR STAGE' live duet series, while their latest mini-album dominates music charts.

QWER Goes Viral with ‘QWER CAR STAGE’

K-pop girl band QWER—composed of Chodan, Magenta, Hina, and Siyeon—is capturing fans’ attention with their creative short-form music series ‘QWER CAR STAGE.’ Built on the quirky idea that a car can be their stage, this viral series has surpassed 8 million total views since launching on their official social media channels earlier this month.

Bringing Live Performances on the Road

‘QWER CAR STAGE’ pushes the boundary of performance settings. With the tagline “Anywhere QWER is becomes a stage,” the four members perform live duets of their title track ‘Holding Back Tears’ with renowned artists—all inside their customized car, affectionately dubbed ‘Q-tteobcar.’

The guest list is as impressive as the concept itself. South Korean artists like Soran, and K.Will have joined, as well as Fifty Fifty’s Moon Chanhyel and HANA. Japanese musicians Cody・Lee(李) and singer-songwriter Asmi also made appearances, singing Korean lyrics translated into Japanese—delighting fans across cultures.

Chart Success Seals Their Rising Status

Just days after the release of their third mini-album, titled ‘I’m on Your Side, Even If the World Is Out of Tune’, QWER not only set a personal record for first-week album sales but also topped major charts. Their title track ‘Holding Back Tears’ clinched the No. 1 spot on the Bugs TOP100, while also jumping five places to rank third on the YouTube Music Weekly Chart.

Such milestones solidify QWER’s status as a “favorite girl band” among K-pop fans, showing both strong fandom support and musical appeal.

Major Festivals Await QWER in 2025

Following their recent success, QWER is set to build an even greater presence on stage, with appearances confirmed at South Korea’s top rock festivals later this year. These include the 2025 Incheon Pentaport Rock Festival on August 1 and 7 Rock Prime 2025 on August 16.

Their unique blend of band sensibilities and idol energy continues to generate buzz, and with their cross-genre appeal and innovative promotions, QWER seems set to become a global name.
