Rookie Boy Group IDID Unveils First Concept Photos
Starship Entertainment has launched teaser content for its upcoming boy group IDID, born through its major project ‘Debut’s Plan’. On June 18, the group released its first set of pre-debut ‘prop photos’ via IDID’s official social media channels, instantly captivating global fans.
What’s in the Props? Clues to Each Member
Titled ‘Follow the Trace’, the concept photos feature props scattered over rough asphalt—objects carefully chosen to reflect each member’s personality and interests. The photos also play off a previous teaser question: “What did you do yesterday?” encouraging fans to guess the stories behind the items.
Books hint at Jang Yonghun’s love for reading, while soccer gear and chocolate point to Kim Minjae’s interests. Parrots and filming equipment reveal Park Wonbin’s passion for media, and fruit bowls reflect Choo Yuchan’s sweet tooth. Park Sunghyun’s fascination with boards and fashion, Baek Junhyuk’s obsession with sharks, and Jung Semin’s collection of accessories and cute trinkets complete the eccentric lineup.
New Uniforms and ‘Fresh Ice’ Concept
The prop photos also showcase a fresh styling twist with new ‘proof outfit’ versions that reimagine the group’s visual identity. Sparkling ice imagery woven into the rugged asphalt backdrop aims to amplify IDID’s ‘fresh appeal,’ heightening anticipation for their pre-debut concept.
