The World Tour Begins With a Bang
SEVENTEEN set the bar high — again. The group launched their ‘SEVENTEEN WORLD TOUR [FOLLOW]’ with an explosive two-day concert on September 13 and 14 at Incheon Asiad Main Stadium. Drawing a crowd of 54,000 fans, tickets sold out instantly, proving the group’s global pull. Fans from more than 100 countries, including the U.S., Japan, Australia, and Singapore, joined via livestream, turning the venue into a virtual melting pot of CARATs (SEVENTEEN’s official fandom name).
Fresh Flavors, Classic Vibes
IDOL Dino summed it up best: “We mixed a new flavor with a familiar one.” The night’s setlist offered a gourmet feast of performances — from never-before-seen stages to beloved hits. The group opened in high fashion (literally, with a runway-style entrance) and fired off with “HBD” and “THUNDER.” Over 30 songs filled the 3.5-hour runtime, including “Domino,” “Network Love,” and high-energy anthems like “F*ck My Life” and “LOVE, MONEY, FAME (feat. DJ Khaled).”
Solo Stages That Stole the Show
Giving fans a taste of their fifth full album, the members performed solo tracks live for the first time. Dino opened with sleek charisma, Jun delivered an artful performance, and Vernon wowed with a surprise guitar solo. Joshua and DK turned up the romance, while Seungkwan’s piano-backed vocals tugged at heartstrings. The8 leaned into avant-garde vibes, and S.COUPS and Mingyu brought the heat with pure energy.
Dancing Kings & High-Octane Hits
Known for their sharp choreography, SEVENTEEN delivered back-to-back hits — literally. The dance-bangers “HOT,” “HIGHLIGHT,” “ROCK,” and “HIT” fueled a crowd eruption. DK kicked off “Rock with you” on live drums, and emotional encore tracks like “A-TEEN,” “9-TEEN,” and “To You” gave fans a nostalgic trip through their shared youth journey. The show closed with “Eyes on you” before pivoting into an encore-turned-finale superloop of the fan-favorite “VERY NICE.”
13 Members United (Yes, Even the Enlisted)
The most heartwarming surprise? Members Jeonghan and Wonwoo (currently in military service), and Woozi and Hoshi (soon to enlist), attended the final night. Seeing them in the audience sparked a major emotional moment. “There are only nine of us on stage, but in this moment, all 13 of us are here. We are SEVENTEEN,” the members shouted — cue the collective sob from the crowd.
Where to Next?
Following Incheon, SEVENTEEN will hit Hong Kong’s Kai Tak Sports Park on September 27 and 28 — tickets for that are already gone. Then it’s off to the U.S. in October with stops in Tacoma, L.A., Austin, Sunrise, and D.C., followed by a major Japan dome tour through December. Looks like the ‘FOLLOW’ era isn’t just a tour… it’s a movement.
