According to Pledis Entertainment under HYBE, the album debuted at No.1 on Japan’s Oricon Daily Album Ranking on May 27.
Soon after its release, the record claimed the top spot on major charts including Line Music Japan’s Album Top 100 (both real-time and daily charts), as well as topping the iTunes and Apple Music Top Albums charts worldwide.
Global Sales and Streaming Domination
With 2.27 million copies sold within just 24 hours of release, ‘HAPPY BURSTDAY’ made a stunning entrance in global rankings. It topped the Worldwide iTunes Albums chart and ranked second on the European iTunes Albums chart.
The lead single ‘THUNDER’ quickly shot up to No.1 on Korean streaming platforms Melon and Bugs, and jumped from 7th to 2nd place on the Worldwide iTunes Songs chart in a single day. Its music video trended globally on YouTube, becoming one of the top rising videos in countries like Korea, Japan, Canada, Germany, and the UK — even topping YouTube’s global Music Video Trending list.
TV Appearances Strengthen Their Global Appeal
