STAYC Wins Big at Hallyu Expo and Kicks Off North American Tour

STAYC took home a major award at the 7th Hallyu Expo in Seoul and announced a major North American tour, proving once again they're rising global icons in K-pop.

STAYC (members Sumin, Sieun, Isa, Seeun, Yoon, and J) added another milestone to their Hallyu journey, receiving the Seoul City Council Chairman’s Award at the 7th Hallyu Expo held at Lotte Hotel’s Crystal Ballroom in Seoul. The event, officially called the ‘2025 K-Expo,’ celebrates influential figures in Korean pop culture, and STAYC stood tall among the elite.

“Seoul Means Everything to Us”

During their acceptance speech, the girls shared heartfelt emotions. “Seoul is such a meaningful and proud city for us. It’s an honor to be recognized here—we’ll keep working to spread K-pop, and STAYC, to the world. Please continue to love and support both Seoul and STAYC!” their leader emotionally declared, earning massive applause from the audience.

The Rise of Global Summer Queens

From power vocals to addictive dance-pop, STAYC’s winning formula is working. Their vibrant performances, empowering lyrics, and strong bond with fans have established them as rising K-pop icons. Whether it’s their genre-spanning music, sharp choreography, charisma-filled visuals, or fluent fan interactions—they embody the diversity and dynamism of modern Hallyu.

The group recently wrapped up their successful ‘STAY TUNED’ tour across 8 cities in Asia and became regulars at summer music festivals and awards shows across greater China. They’ve earned their nickname as K-pop’s “Summer Queens” for a reason.

From Asia to the Americas

Next stop? North America. Starting this October, STAYC will launch a 10-city tour across the U.S. and Canada, including Seattle, Los Angeles, New York, and Toronto. That’s a level-up from their debut world tour, which only included 7 North American cities. This expansion signals just how much their international fanbase has grown—and fans can’t wait to see what fresh concepts the girls bring to stage.

Backed by Korea’s Top Cultural Institutions

The Hallyu Expo is supported by key organizations like the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Finance, and the Seoul Metropolitan Council. It’s hosted by Korean news outlet Newsis, with the aim of promoting the sustainability and global presence of K-culture. And honestly? STAYC is doing just that—with style, smarts, and sparkles.
