Stray Kids Gears Up for Explosive Comeback
K-pop heavyweights Stray Kids are back in the spotlight with a high-octane mashup teaser for their upcoming fourth full-length album ‘KARMA’, out August 22. JYP Entertainment has been rolling out an impressive lineup of pre-release content, including trailers, striking teaser images, and the signature “UNVEIL : TRACK” series that fans religiously follow before any comeback.
‘KARMA’ Mashup Video Packs a Punch
On August 13, Stray Kids dropped a new teaser titled ‘KARMA Mashup Video’, and it’s as intense as it sounds. The video gives fans a rapid-fire preview of nine out of the eleven tracks on the album—including title track ‘CEREMONY’, along with ‘CREED’, ‘MESS’, ‘0801’, and more. It’s EDM-heavy, fast-paced, and practically oozes adrenaline.
Each snippet is paired with eye-catching graphics tailored to the vibe of the song—think exploding fireworks for ‘CEREMONY’ and fiery phoenix wings for (you guessed it) ‘PHOENIX’. There’s also a stylish set of behind-the-scenes portraits, giving us soft visuals to contrast the hard-hitting beats.
Fully Self-Produced, Fully Stray Kids
‘KARMA’ features 11 tracks in total, including an English version and a “Festival Version” of the lead single ‘CEREMONY’. As expected, the group’s in-house production unit 3RACHA—aka Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han—have their fingerprints all over it. Every song is stamped with their signature energy and lyrical grit.
It’s their first studio album in two years since 2023’s mega-hit ‘5-STAR’, and their comeback following the global success of their 6th #1 on the Billboard 200 with ‘SKZHIPTAPE 合 (HOP)’. Fans have been counting down the days since, and this teaser only dials up the hype.
World Tour Wrapped, Comeback Ready
Having just wrapped up their largest-ever world tour ‘dominATE’, which spanned nearly a year across continents, Stray Kids are returning bolder than ever. With their fierce live presence and unmistakable sound, expectations for ‘KARMA’ are stratospheric. And judging by the mashup teaser, they’re ready to rise—phoenix-style—once again.
When Is ‘KARMA’ Dropping?
The full album ‘KARMA’ and title track ‘CEREMONY’ will drop globally on August 22 at 1 PM KST (12 AM EST). Expect iTunes chart crashes, Twitter meltdowns, and plenty of TikTok choreography challenges to follow.
