Stray Kids Win Big at 2025 Kids Choice Awards

Stray Kids have won the Favorite Music Group award at the 2025 Kids Choice Awards in the U.S., reaffirming their global influence. They're now the second K-pop act after BTS to win at the event.

Stray Kids Take Home Favorite Music Group Award

Stray Kids have won the Favorite Music Group award at the 2025 Kids Choice Awards, held on June 21 (local time) in Santa Monica, Los Angeles. Hosted by the American entertainment network Nickelodeon, the event celebrates the hottest global stars across music, TV, and film, as voted directly by fans.

Reaffirming K-pop’s Global Power

Nominated in both the Favorite Music Group and Favorite Global Music Star categories, Stray Kids earned the trophy for the former—solidifying their ongoing global influence. With this win, Stray Kids became the second K-pop act in history, after BTS, to receive this honor at the Kids Choice Awards.

Consistent Success Across Major Music Awards

2025 has already proven to be a landmark year for the boy group. In March, they picked up awards at Japan’s 39th Gold Disc Awards for Music Video of the Year and Best 3 Albums. At the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards, they again won K-pop Album of the Year for the second consecutive year.

Additionally, their track “Come Play,” featured in the second season of the Netflix animated series ARCANE, earned them the Favorite Soundtrack award at the 2025 American Music Awards.

World Tour Draws Global Attention

Stray Kids are currently touring North America with their largest world tour to date: Stray Kids World Tour <dominATE>. The stadium tour includes 13 shows in 10 North American cities, including upcoming stops in Chicago (June 26) and Toronto (June 29).

This ambitious tour will then head to Europe, gracing massive stadiums in cities like Amsterdam, Frankfurt, London, Madrid, Paris, and Rome—drawing praise from major international media.

Lighting Up New York—Literally

On June 16, Stray Kids joined the lighting ceremony of New Yorks iconic Empire State Building. Representing the healing power of music, the building was lit up in the groups signature red. Just days later, on June 18, they also held two solo concerts at New York’s Citi Field, once again dazzling fans with a high-energy performance.

Whats Next for Stray Kids?

With a year full of awards, sold-out stadiums, and symbolic moments like lighting up NYC, Stray Kids continue to prove that their popularity isnt just a phase—its a wave. As one of the leaders of the new-generation K-pop era, their global impact continues to grow, one city at a time.
