TWICE Celebrates 10 Years with Chart-Topping Comeback
K-pop powerhouse TWICE is back with a bang. The group released their fourth full-length album ‘THIS IS FOR’ on July 11, marking their 10th anniversary with a powerful reminder of their global stardom. The album immediately rose to the top of Korea’s Hanteo Album Chart and ranked in the Top 5 on iTunes charts in the U.S. and Japan.
In a further display of their international appeal, TWICE became the most-streamed girl group on Spotify globally on the day of release—proof that their magic hasn’t faded one bit over the past decade.
High-Energy Performances Boost Title Track’s Popularity
Following the release, TWICE kicked off their official comeback with performances on major Korean music shows, including Music Bank (KBS 2TV), Show! Music Core (MBC), and Inkigayo (SBS). Their title track, also called “THIS IS FOR,” impressed fans with motivating lyrics, an upbeat sound, and TWICE’s signature energetic choreography.
Fans poured out love, with comments such as, “TWICE always lifts my mood,” and “Ten years later, and they’re still perfect.”
Message to Fans: ‘This Is for ONCE’
The members shared their excitement about returning to music shows and reuniting with their fandom, ONCE. “We’re so happy to be performing in front of ONCE again,” they said. “We wanted to send a message of encouragement through ‘THIS IS FOR,’ and your cheers gave us even more energy. We hope this song helps you enjoy your summer even more.”
World Tour Kicks Off in Incheon, Heads to Chicago
TWICE is set to launch their sixth world tour starting with a two-night concert at the Inspire Arena in Incheon on July 19–20. The shows sold out all seats, with venues opening up 360 degrees to accommodate more fans.
