TWS Heats Up ROCK IN JAPAN FESTIVAL With High-Energy Stage

Rising K-pop rookie group TWS just proved why they’re one of the most exciting new acts in Hallyu. On September 15, the six-member group lit up the Hillside Stage at ROCK IN JAPAN FESTIVAL 2025 (RIJF), held at Chiba’s Soga Sports Park — and they didn’t just show up, they blew the roof off the whole festival.

From Sweet Debut Tracks to Full-On Rock

The performance opened with their Japanese debut single “Hajimemashite” and the moody collab track “BLOOM (feat. Ayumu Imazu),” setting the tone for what would be a wild ride.

Then, things cranked up a notch. TWS surprised the crowd with amped-up rock versions of fan-favorites “GO BACK” and “Oh Mymy : 7s.” Gritty guitar riffs collided with synchronized moves, earning roars from the audience. By the time they launched into the punky “hey! hey!”, the place was lit.

Feel-Good Vibes & Summer Memories

But it wasn’t all head-banging. The group brought back their signature freshness with songs like “If I’m S, You’re My N,” the Japanese version of “plot twist,” and the upbeat crowd-pleaser “Countdown!”

Fans waved lightsticks and custom name boards in sync, turning the summer outdoor show into a full-on love fest. Pure festival magic.

TWS Makes It Personal — in Japanese

Toward the end, the members touched hearts by addressing the audience in Japanese. “We’re so happy to perform at ROCK IN JAPAN FESTIVAL. Today’s stage was really special for us. We hope it becomes a meaningful summer memory for you too.”

The heartfelt moment earned cheers — and maybe a few happy tears — proving how quickly TWS is building real connection with Japanese fans.

What’s Next for TWS?

Fresh off this high, TWS is jumping right into their next gig: the Asia Top Artist Festival 2025 in Seoul’s Nanji Hangang Park on September 28. Oh, and they’ve already teased a comeback in October. Talk about hustle!

With a growing Japanese fandom and momentum that won’t quit, TWS is fast becoming a force in the global K-pop scene. If you thought their rookie year was impressive, buckle up — things are just getting started.
