UNIS Snags K-World Dream Award and Dominates Asia Tour

UNIS proves its rising Hallyu power by winning the Popular Girl Group Award two years in a row at the 2025 K-World Dream Awards, while kicking off its first Asia tour.

UNIS Wins Back-to-Back at K-World Dream Awards

Rookie powerhouse UNIS—made up of Jin Hyunju, Nana, Jelly Danka, Kotoko, Bang Yoonha, Elisia, Oh Yoona, and Lim Seowon—just snagged the Popular Girl Group Award at the 2025 K-WORLD DREAM AWARDS. For the second year running, no less.

The girl group had already turned heads in 2024 by winning double honors at the same ceremony. This year, they proved it wasn’t beginner’s luck—UNIS beat out senior and junior acts alike to score a fan-voted win that speaks volumes.

Quote of the Night—From Afar

The only downside? UNIS couldn’t attend the award show in person. But the members still sent fans some heartfelt love via video.

“We remember how thrilled we were to win this award last year,” they said. “Though we couldn’t be there this time, receiving this honor again is a dream. We’re beyond grateful.”

They also gave a special shoutout to their fans, EverAfter, saying, “You’re the reason we’ve made it this far. We’ll keep working hard so we can keep making you proud.”

From Fierce to Fun: Their Winning Image Shift

This win follows the buzz around UNIS’s mini album “SWICY”, dropped in April. Known for the fierce vibe of debut track “SUPERWOMAN” and the bold spirit of first single “You Just Don’t Know,” UNIS flipped the script with “SWICY”.

The bright and bubbly concept captured fans with cheerful visuals and a candy-pop sound. The album topped international charts and showed serious global potential for the group still barely two years into their career.

Asia Tour: World Stage, Here They Come

UNIS didn’t stop there. In June, they launched their first-ever Asia Tour—dubbed the “2025 UNIS FANCON ASIA TOUR”. Opening in Seoul, the tour has already hit Tokyo, Osaka, and Manila. Up next? Shanghai, on the 23rd.

Each stop has seen fans turning up in full force, eager to meet the rising stars in person. The tour not only cements their regional presence but also revs up anticipation for what’s next.

What’s Next for UNIS?

With a global fandom growing and another major trophy on the shelf, the future’s looking pretty sweet for UNIS. Whether through catchy comebacks or crowd-hyping concerts, this girl group is making sure the world knows their name—loud and clear.

So, are UNIS the next K-pop queens in the making? We’re watching, EverAfter.
