UNIS Lands in Shanghai for a Special Encounter
K-pop rookies UNIS—made up of members Jin Hyeonju, Nana, Jellydanka, Kotoko, Bang Yoonha, Elisia, Oh Yoonah, and Lim Seowon—recently held their first fan meeting in China, and it was nothing short of heart-melting.
Held on July 23 at the UNArt Center in Shanghai, the event split into two sessions, each filled with unforgettable interactions with their local EverAfter fandom (shoutout to those living their best fangirl lives!).
Polaroids, Eye Contact, and All the Feels
The first session was a cozy, 1:1 fan meeting, where each member got up-close and personal. Fans shared stories, snapped Polaroids with their favorite idols, and basically lived every K-pop stan’s dream.
Session two stepped things up with a full-on group fansign event. UNIS made their entrance to roaring cheers, greeting fans in Chinese—a moment that melted hearts faster than you can say “aegyo.”
“We’ve always wanted to visit Shanghai, and it means so much to do it with EverAfter. We’re so happy,” the group said, practically glowing with gratitude.
Peak Fan Love Energy
UNIS delivered top-tier fanservice with playful pose requests, heartfelt convos, and genuine smiles. Translation: they went full ‘fan fools’ mode—in the best way possible.
The members sported fan-given accessories, posed on command, and radiated warmth that instantly won over their Chinese EverAfter family. New fans were made. Biases were wrecked.
What’s Next for UNIS?
After the fan meeting, F&F Entertainment released a note from the group: “It was our first time in Shanghai, and we’re so grateful for the warm welcome. We hope today becomes an unforgettable memory for all of us.”
They added, “Although we couldn’t perform this time, we hope to return with a full concert and meet you again soon.”
UNIS Is on the Rise
In case you blinked: UNIS is moving fast. This year alone, they dropped their second mini-album ‘SWICY’ and a collab single ‘Shaking My Head’, showing off their musical versatility.
They’re also mid-run on their 2025 UNIS FANCON ASIA TOUR, having already wrapped up shows in Korea, Tokyo, Osaka, and Manila. Not to mention, they nabbed the “Most Popular Female Group” award at the 2025 K-WORLD DREAM AWARDS—for the second year running.
TL;DR
Shanghai EverAfters got a first-hand look at UNIS’ rising star power, and judging by the energy, this fan-artist love story is just getting started. Will China get a concert next? Fingers crossed. Until then, UNIS is clearly a name every K-pop fan should have bookmarked.
