Xiumin’s Solo Tour Ends on a High Note
EXO’s Xiumin knows how to leave fans wanting more. The idol-turned-soloist recently wrapped up his encore fan concert ‘X Times’ with a packed venue, interactive games, emotional performances—and a major musical surprise.
A Sweet Concept with a Mysterious Twist
Held on May 27 and 28 at Seoul’s Blue Square Mastercard Hall, the encore event wasn’t just a replay—it was a full-on upgrade. Embracing a ‘Sugar Mystery’ theme, the performances played out like a live detective show, with Xiumin and fans chasing down a mysterious ‘X’ across song sets, missions, and heartwarming talks.
The encore marked the finale of Xiumin’s solo tour, which kicked off in March and ran for three months. Based on the overwhelming fan response, organizers expanded the concept and added the encore dates in response.
The Surprise Drop: Brand New Tracks
Then came the twist no one saw coming: two unreleased tracks. Xiumin surprised fans by performing “Overdrop” and “Fireflies” live for the first time. Both new tracks are part of his upcoming release slated for October. Talk about a spoiler fans welcome with open arms.
The Full Xiumin Setlist Experience
Xiumin performed the entirety of Interview X, his second mini-album released in March, featuring songs like “WHEE!”, “Can’t Help Myself”, “Make You LaLa”, and “Lost Paradise”. He also revisited hits from his first solo mini-album, giving day-one fans some sweet nostalgia.
Beyond the Stage
2024 has been a busy year for Xiumin. After returning to solo music for the first time in three years, he’s been all over Korean variety shows, including Knowing Bros and his own quirky YouTube series “Xiumin’s Ramen Shop”. Clearly, whether it’s onstage or online, he’s keeping fans fed—emotionally and literally.
