EXO’s Xiumin recently held his first solo fan concert ‘X Times ( )’ at Seoul’s Blue Square Mastercard Hall on March 22, marking the start of his Asia tour. The concert was an unforgettable experience for fans, with Xiumin performing all tracks from his second mini-album, ‘Interview X,’ for the first time.
The performance was creatively structured around a magazine concept, with Xiumin playing the role of a journalist investigating the mystery behind ‘X.’ Engaging fans with interactive segments like ‘I am X’ and ‘Hot Issue X,’ he made the evening more special by answering fan questions and participating in fun challenges like the ‘Mochi Challenge’ and ‘Pineapple Slice Challenge.’
A heartfelt moment came when EXO members Baekhyun and Chen made a surprise appearance to celebrate Xiumin’s upcoming birthday on March 26. Overwhelmed, Xiumin expressed his joy, saying, “Today was truly a happy moment.” He also shared his future plans, revealing aspirations to complete his fan concert tour successfully and release a third solo album next year.
Fans made the event even more memorable by organizing surprise events and taking group photos with the idol. Having successfully wrapped up his Seoul concert, Xiumin is set to take ‘2025 XIUMIN FAN CONCERT X Times ( ) ASIA TOUR’ to six Asian cities, including Tokyo, Osaka, Bangkok, Manila, and Taipei.
Apart from his music career, Xiumin is also making waves as an actor. Starting March 24, he will star as the lead, Heo Kyun, in the Netflix and Wavve drama ‘Heo Sikdang,’ further proving his versatility. His fan concert showcased his talents across multiple genres, heightening anticipation for his upcoming activities.
