K-pop boy group ZEROBASEONE (Sung Hanbin, Kim Jiwoong, Zhang Hao, Matthew Seok, Kim Taerae, Ricky, Kim Gyuvin, Park Gunwook, Han Yujin) has returned with season 2 of their self-produced content series ‘ZBTVing’, starting off with a brand-new show titled ‘NEVER (Give Up) CITY’.
A City of Strategy and Suspense
The first episode, released on June 17 through their official YouTube channel, introduces a fictional city where “giving up is not an option.” The members take on the roles of powerful real estate investors, engaging in a mock investment game ahead of the city’s ‘redevelopment.’ Their hilarious improvisational acting adds a comedic twist to the mind game setup.
High-Stakes Betting Battles
Divided into three teams—Yellow (Sung Hanbin, Kim Jiwoong, Kim Taerae), Blue (Zhang Hao, Matthew Seok, Kim Gyuvin), and Green (Ricky, Park Gunwook, Han Yujin)—they played a “Betting Box” game, where each of the nine members secretly chooses a box assigned with different monetary values. With the prize divided equally among all who choose a box, deception and alliance-building became key strategies.
Viewers were treated to tense psychological warfare as teams bluffed, leaked false intel, and negotiated backdoor pacts. The Blue Team impressed with a meticulous game plan, dominating the rankings with Matthew Seok in first place, Kim Gyuvin in third, and Zhang Hao in fourth.
Main Game Teaser: ‘Territory War’ in a Massive Arena
With the warm-up games out of the way, next week’s episode will unveil the main event: a giant 500-pyeong (approx. 17,800 sq ft) high-stakes territory conquest game. The increased stakes and scale promise even fiercer strategic battles ahead.

On top of their engaging content series, ZEROBASEONE is also set to release a pre-release track called ‘SLAM DUNK’ on June 23 at 6 PM via major digital music platforms. Blending EDM and hip-hop, the track delivers an energetic summer vibe straight from the basketball court—complete with athletic beats and refreshing K-pop intensity to beat the summer heat.
