Asia Model Festival and FanNuri Join Forces to Expand K-Content Globally

The Asia Model Festival Organizing Committee and tech platform FanNuri have signed an MOU to boost the global spread of K-content through fan-participation platforms, promoting collaboration across industries.

Strategic Partnership to Accelerate Global K-Content Growth

The Asia Model Festival Organizing Committee (AMFOC), chaired by Yang Eui-sik, signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with tech company UBINURI, represented by CEO Lee Dae-geun, on May 16. The collaboration aims to jointly develop and promote K-content through mutual cooperation.

FanNuri: A Platform Where Fans Drive the K-pop Ecosystem

UBINURI’s FanNuri platform operates under the slogan “Connecting K-POP Hearts Worldwide.” Unlike traditional fan communities, FanNuri offers a unique participation reward model where fans actively engage and receive benefits in return. In an era where fan interaction plays a crucial role in content success, this platform allows global audiences to connect with K-pop in new and meaningful ways.

Leveraging 20 Years of Global Networking

Chairman Yang remarked, “As the Asia Model Festival celebrates its 20th anniversary, we plan to utilize our global network and accumulated expertise to help FanNuri become a catalyst in Korea’s expanding content market.”

Collaboration Across Borders and Professions

The signing ceremony was attended by a diverse group of industry professionals, including Supermodel and Director Lee Kirin, Director Jang Hye-won, and Professor Song Eun-ji from Seoul Cyber University. In a show of increasing global interest, the Chinese Influencer Council’s Chairperson Wang Keyouye, along with 20 members, joined the event, emphasizing the global reach of K-content and the importance of cross-cultural collaboration.

This synergy between a flagship K-culture festival and an emerging tech platform embodies the next step in fan-driven cultural exports—where the passion of fans meets the power of technology.
