Baby V.O.X Reunites After 14 Years for ‘Immortal Songs’ Appearance

Baby V.O.X, one of the most iconic first-generation K-pop girl groups, recently reunited for a special episode of KBS 2TV’s ‘Immortal Songs.’ Returning as a full group after 14 years, they shared memories of their past successes across Asia, including China, Taiwan, and Thailand. Member Kan Mi-yeon recalled their unique experience performing in North Korea, remarking on the audience’s lack of reactions, which made it feel like an audition.

During the episode, Baby V.O.X also cheered on younger artists, with Yoon Eun-hye humorously calling the show a ‘sexy showcase’ while reacting to fellow performers. Their admiration for contestant Jung Seung-won provided entertaining moments, with Kim E-Z joking about how the entire group had to keep their composure upon his appearance.

The group expressed their gratitude to KBS for enabling their long-awaited reunion, which began with their performance at the ‘KBS Song Festival Global Festival’ last December. This ‘Immortal Songs’ special also featured performances by Stephanie, Yoo Jung-hwan Band, EXID, ONEWE, and Jung Seung-won, each putting their own spin on Baby V.O.X’s classic hits.

As Baby V.O.X bridges generations of K-pop, their return showcases the lasting impact of first-generation idols. Fans can relive their legacy every Saturday at 6:05 PM KST on KBS 2TV’s ‘Immortal Songs.’
