K-pop powerhouse (G)I-DLE made a huge splash at the Asia Star Entertainer Awards 2025 (ASEA 2025), taking home three major trophies including the prestigious Record of the Year. The group also won The Platinum and Global K-POP Leader awards, solidifying their influence on the global stage.

At the awards ceremony held at the K-Arena in Yokohama, Japan, the members expressed heartfelt gratitude. “It still feels surreal to receive such a big awards,” they said. “Nevies (Neverland, our fandom), thank you so much. We wouldn’t have achieved this without you.” Member Soyeon added, “We hope you continue to love our new track ‘Good Thing’.”
‘Good Thing’ Dominating Global Charts
Following the release of their 8th mini album ‘We are’, the title track ‘Good Thing’ quickly rose on global music charts, reaffirming the group’s worldwide popularity. The album’s first-week sales surpassed 1.06 million copies, marking (G)I-DLE’s fourth consecutive million-seller—a testament to their musical growth and solid fanbase.
High-Energy Performances and Viral Moments
The group wowed the audience with standout performances of ‘Good Thing’ and their pre-release single ‘Girlfriend’.
