In the May 2025 edition of the Netizen Awards, trot sensation Hwang Young-woong claimed the top spot in the Best CF (commercial film) Model category. Earning a total of 91,977 votes (33.4%), he once again proved his unrivaled popularity in both the music and advertising worlds.

Close Competition with Rising Stars

Runner-up Jung Seojoo gave Hwang a run for his money, securing 75,511 votes (27.4%). Known for her commanding presence on trot stages, she’s also become a fan favorite in the CF market. Other stars rounded out the top five: Park Jihyun (28,115 votes), Kim Hyeyoon (27,247 votes), and Son Taejin (23,364 votes).

The rest of the top 10 includes:

  • 6th: Jang Minho – 12,556 votes
  • 7th: Byun Wooseok – 7,245 votes
  • 8th: Yang Jieun – 4,636 votes
  • 9th: Song Gain – 3,148 votes
  • 10th: Uhm Taegoo – 1,297 votes
