Singer Hwang Youngwoong has once again proven his immense popularity by securing first place in the May 2025 Netizen Awards’ Grand Prix category with a staggering 91,804 votes (22.3%). The victory reinforces his reputation as a leading figure in Korea’s entertainment scene.

This month’s Grand Prix was dubbed the “Ultimate Crown Battle,” featuring top stars from various entertainment sectors. Despite the intense competition, Hwang clinched first place, adding to his previous recognitions including the Fanbook Grand Prize and the CF Model Award. Trailing closely behind was Jeong Seoju, who earned 75,657 votes (18.4%) and held onto second place.
