NOWZ Makes a Comeback with New Ambitions
Cube Entertainment’s rookie boy group NOWZ is ready to light up the K-pop scene once again. After a seven-month break, the group (Hyunbin, Yoon, Yeonwoo, Jinhyuk, Siyoon) is returning with their very first mini album ‘IGNITION’, marking a fresh chapter following their rebranding.
New Music, New Identity
On June 7, Cube Entertainment unveiled the promotional timeline for NOWZ’s pre-release single on its official social media channels. As the lead-up to their mini album, this single introduces a new musical direction and image. It also symbolizes the group’s official restart under their new name.
According to the released schedule, promotions will begin on June 9 with a mysterious teaser titled ‘NOWZ with ?’. The campaign will include a story film, concept photos and videos, a music video teaser, and finally, the pre-release single and a comeback live broadcast on June 17.
Youthful Vibes and Symbolic Imagery
The teaser images have stirred curiosity, revealing objects like a glass reflecting sunlight, a white cabinet, a guitar in a music room, an empty rooftop, and a pair of headphones on the grass. These youthful visuals reflect the sentimental tone of the upcoming release.
Fans also noticed a rabbit symbol hidden within the teaser’s mysterious phrase, sparking speculation about concept themes and collaborations. The inclusion of subtle symbolic elements is keeping excitement high as promo activities unfold.
Building Momentum with ‘IGNITION’
This marks NOWZ’s first physical release and a major reintroduction following their November 2023 digital single ‘Let’s get it’. Armed with experience and creative growth, they aim to showcase their unique identity with ‘IGNITION’.
