Leeseo Marks Her First Anniversary on ‘Inkigayo’
IVE’s Leeseo is celebrating her one-year milestone as an MC for SBS’s popular K-pop music show Inkigayo. According to her agency, Starship Entertainment, she began hosting the show on April 28 last year, and this April 28 marks her first anniversary.
Sharing her thoughts, Leeseo said, “I can’t believe it’s already been a year. I’m deeply thankful to the Inkigayo production team and my fellow MCs for making this journey so enjoyable.”

Youngest MC Trio with Big Impact
Known as part of the ‘Maknae Line MCs,’ Leeseo was joined by ZEROBASEONE’s Han Yujin and actor Moon Seonghyun, forming the youngest trio of MCs in Inkigayo history. Whether she was appearing as a marathoner, baseball player, or detective, Leeseo charmed viewers each week with her ever-changing personas.
Her clean hosting style and comedic flair became her trademarks, earning her high praise for adapting to various themes with ease—truly a ‘chameleon’ on screen.
K-pop Challenge Queen and Vocal Skills
Nicknamed the ‘K-pop Challenge Vending Machine,’ Leeseo actively participated in Inkigayo’s interview segments, where she showcased dance moves from numerous idol groups. She tackled dances from all types of genres and even performed a surprise duet with rock band Dragon Pony, revealing her hidden vocal talent.
Web Spin-off Star in ‘Let’s Hit the Snack Bar!’
Beyond the main program, Leeseo is currently starring as the snack bar host in the spin-off web variety show Let’s Hit the Snack Bar After Inkigayo.
