Gong Seungyeon stars in Channel A’s new weekend K-drama 'We'll Go On Your Behalf', promising stunning visuals, heartfelt healing, and a journey of self-discovery—premiering August 2.

Channel A’s Healing Drama Debuts This August

Actress Gong Seungyeon took the stage on July 29 at the production press conference for Channel A’s upcoming weekend drama ‘We’ll Go On Your Behalf’, held at the Shocking K-Pop Center in Mapo-gu, Seoul.

The series is adapted from the bestselling Japanese novel by Mahah Harada and spins the tale of a former idol who’s never been in the spotlight—but unexpectedly finds herself as a travel reporter. Along the way, she embarks on emotionally charged journeys assigned by others, learning what success and a fulfilling life truly mean.

Stunning Destinations, Deep Emotions

Set against the breathtaking backdrops of both Korean and global landmarks, the drama promises a “visual vacation” for viewers tuning in from their living room couch. Think postcard-perfect scenery mixed with emotional storytelling—aka, K-drama comfort food.

Its feel-good, slow-travel theme is timed perfectly with Korea’s summer break season, making this a must-watch addition for anyone dreaming of an escape—with or without a passport.

A Cast Built for Heartfelt Vibes

Joining Gong Seungyeon in the ensemble are veteran actor Yoo Jun-sang, rising star Kim Jae-young, the ever-charming Hong Soo-hyun, and scene-stealer Oh Hyun-jung. Each brings a unique perspective and persona, promising strong chemistry and layered storylines.

Director Kang Sol also attended the press conference, sharing insights on the drama’s warm tone and observational depth. “We wanted to create something that felt like a gentle breeze, something meditative yet moving,” he noted.
