Jung Yonghwa Celebrates 10 Years with an Exclusive Concert Broadcast

If you missed CNBLUE’s Jung Yonghwa live in Japan this year, don’t panic—because Satellite Theater is giving fans the ultimate rewind. The channel will air Yonghwa’s 2025 solo concert “Director’s Cut: Our Fine Days” for the first time on TV this October.

The title says it all: Like a film director, Yonghwa curated a cinematic journey, showcasing his decade-long evolution as a solo artist. From his debut ballad “One Fine Day” to the energetic new track “Night Runner (Shooting Star)”, fans can expect a K-pop scrapbook brought to life—nostalgia, vocals, and all.

But that’s not all. Two more classic concerts will be aired: the heartfelt “Your City” Birthday Party tour in 2024 and Yonghwa’s very first solo Japanese concert “One Fine Day”. Grab tissues and popcorn.

N.Flying Takes the Stage—and the Spotlight

Also on the October docket: N.Flying, Yonghwa’s label-mates and pop-rock kings, bring energy to the screen with their 2024 Japan concert “HIDE-OUT.” Expect a setlist crammed with fan favorites—from the viral hit “Rooftop” (in Japanese!) to the heartfelt “Star” from the K-drama “Lovely Runner” (where member Lee Seunghyub had a memorable role).

Lovers of behind-the-scenes fun can also catch them on variety show “Hallyu Star Jack S★N.Flying.” Peak chaos, peak charm.

New K-Dramas Alert: From Campus Romance to Royal Thrills

For those who live for K-dramas, October brings a buffet. First up: the Japanese premiere of “Kick and Cry Romance”, starring Ryoun and Jo Byungkyu. Set in 2000s Korea, it’s a nostalgic friends-to-lovers rom-com about four messy college students tangled in heartaches and awkward phases. Think Reply 1988, but with extra hormones. Bonus: It’s based on a hit webtoon penned by author Kim Poong, who also adapted the screenplay himself.

YouTube users rejoice—the first episode will be free to stream from October 11–31 on Satellite Theater’s channel. Fall feels, incoming.

Ji Changwook Rules the Battlefield in Historical Drama

Meanwhile, Ji Changwook is suiting up for war in “Queen Woo”, a historical action drama set during Korea’s Goguryeo era. He plays a fierce king caught in a power tug-of-war as five tribes target his queen. Expect swords, schemes, and swoon-worthy charisma. Supporting him are seasoned talents like Jeon Jongseo and Lee Soo-hyuk.

And because no one can resist Peak-era Changwook, viewers can also catch reruns of his quirky hit drama “Melting Me Softly” and a fun behind-the-scenes variety show episode on “Hallyu Star Jack S★Ji Changwook.”

Office Intrigue, Political Love, and YoonA Getting Comedic

More dramas? You got it. “Inspector Koo” star Shin Hakyun leads “We Will Audit You” as a cold auditor cracking down on corporate corruption, paired with Lee Jungha (of “Moving” fame) as a rookie with heart. Think Good Cop, Cold Cop but with Excel spreadsheets and sarcasm.

Then comes the rom-com wild card: Girls’ Generation’s YoonA stars in “Prime Minister and I”, a fake marriage drama where a gumptious gossip reporter fakes a contractual relationship with the nation’s dreamy PM, played by Lee Beomsoo. Bonus points for slapstick scenes: YoonA stumbles drunk, snoozes on sofas like a college roommate, and even dons a janitor disguise.

Oh—and keep an eye out for a sparkly cameo by EXO’s Suho. He plays a dreamy church brother. Yes, really.
