TWS Delivers Refreshing Fun with Variety Show Spoof
K-pop boy group TWS (members Shinyu, Dohun, Youngjae, Hanjin, Jihoon, and Kyungmin) turned up the summer energy with their own variety content. On July 15, they released part two of ‘TWS:CLUB’ on their official YouTube channel and global fan platform Weverse. This episode, titled ‘TWS’s Refreshing Invitation #2’, creatively parodies an iconic Korean variety segment called ‘Dangerous Invitation.’
Game Night Meets Comedy Show
The show paired up members, assigning one to play games while the other sat on a flying chair, waiting to be soaked with water if their partner slipped. The games included balance quizzes and interviews peppered with forbidden words and actions. Utter a banned word like “really,” and boom — cue the water splash.
The result? A full-on ‘teamkill’ scenario, with members intentionally goading one another into making mistakes just to trigger the hilarious punishment. When roles switched, revenge flowed just as freely as the water, keeping viewers laughing throughout the segment.
Unfiltered Charm and Summer Vibes
Despite the soaking challenges, TWS members embraced the moment with good humor. From casually fixing their soaked hair to striking V-poses mid-flight, they radiated easygoing charisma. Their youngest member Kyungmin, crowned the show’s MVP, even volunteered for an extra splash, hair and makeup be damned.
“It was really fun filming while getting splashed,” the group shared. “Since it’s such a hot summer, we hope everyone watching cools down and enjoys the show. Please look forward to more ‘TWS:CLUB’ episodes!”
‘TWS:CLUB’ Brings Idols Closer to Fans
‘TWS:CLUB’ showcases the group’s lighthearted and personable sides offstage. Infused with playful editing and humor, the series positions itself as perfect ‘meal-time entertainment’ content — something fans can comfortably watch over dinner or downtime.
Meanwhile, TWS Heads Full Speed into Japan
Beyond variety antics, the group is also on a high-profile Japan tour — ‘2025 TWS TOURS ‘24/7:WITH:US’ IN JAPAN’ — which kicked off in Hiroshima on July 11. With 13 shows across six cities, this marks their first official tour. Their debut Japanese single, ‘Nice to see you again (original title: はじめまして)’, recently topped local charts including Oricon and Billboard Japan, cementing their rising global impact.
From water-filled challenges to chart-topping hits, TWS is making waves across multiple platforms — literally and figuratively.
