Mnet’s ‘World of Street Woman Fighter 3’ Hits a Roadblock
Dancers, drama, and now delays. Mnet’s popular dance competition ‘World of Street Woman Fighter 3’ (WSWF3) has officially scrubbed three of its Korean tour concerts due to internal team tensions.
Cancelled Cities: Changwon, Daegu, Daejeon
The show’s production company announced on June 16 that concerts scheduled in Changwon on June 21, Daegu on October 3, and Daejeon on October 11 have been canceled.
“Due to issues surrounding artist participation and various other concerns, we’ve reached a point where it’s realistically impossible to proceed with the performances as planned,” the company said in a statement. “We deeply apologize to all fans and ask for your understanding.”
Behind the Cancellations: Team OSAKA Ojo Gang in Turmoil
At the center of the storm is OSAKA Ojo Gang, the winning dance crew from the Japanese team recently crowned on WSWF3. Their leader, IBUKI, is entangled in a messy dispute with their manager—sparking everything from tour no-shows to explosive public statements.
The tensions originally began with performance absences. But things escalated quickly, with allegations of broken trust and fuzzy financial transparency surfacing. Rest assured, the receipts and fan theories are flying fast across social media.
IBUKI herself addressed the stress, revealing that her “mental health hit rock bottom” and that she’s even been hospitalized for treatment. Meanwhile, six of the seven team members (excluding IBUKI) have come forward to raise concerns about unpaid wages and group conflict.
Refunds Incoming, But Can the Show Go On?
The production team has promised to send individual notifications for ticket cancellations and full refunds. While the tour will continue in other cities, the cloud hanging over WSWF3 is hard to ignore.
Despite the drama, fans are holding out hope that the remaining shows will bring the fire and finesse that made this season so addictive. After all, if there’s one thing K-pop and dance fans know how to do, it’s turn chaos into choreography.
So, What’s Next for WSWF3?
Whether the drama cools down or turns up, one thing’s clear: behind every powerful performance is a very human story. Will IBUKI and the remaining OSAKA Ojo Gang members reconcile? Or are the stages destined to shine without them? Stay tuned—the K-dance world never sleeps.
