Hwang Youngwoong Holds the Crown in September Fanbook Rankings

Hwang Youngwoong continues to rule the Netizen Awards Fanbook rankings in September 2025, while rising stars and fierce contenders like Jung Seoju, Son Bina, and Son Taejin intensify the race.

Hwang Youngwoong Tops the Charts Yet Again

K-trot’s golden boy, Hwang Youngwoong, just won’t let go of his throne. In the September 2025 Netizen Awards – Brand Fanbook category, he snagged another win with 79,113 votes (29.4%), keeping his top-tier status intact. Even though his vote count slightly dipped from the previous month, his fanbase’s loyalty held strong.

Challengers on the Rise: Jung Seoju, Son Bina & Son Taejin

Jung Seoju came in at second with 45,791 votes (17.0%), standing as the only female artist posing a real threat to Hwang’s dominance. Meanwhile, Son Bina surged ahead to third place with 20,685 votes (7.7%), and Son Taejin followed closely with 18,956 votes (7.0%). The battle between this trio is heating up—especially the “Son-Son Brothers,” as fans have cleverly dubbed them.

Mid-Tier Heat: Myjin to Park Jihyun

The 5th to 10th spots were packed with well-loved names: Myjin (6.4%), Bin Yeseo (5.2%), Jang Minho (5.0%), Kim Hyeyoon (4.9%), Enoch (4.4%), and Park Jihyun (3.9%). A colorful lineup reflecting fans’ diverse tastes in K-pop and trot alike.

Staying in the Game: 11th to 16th

Still in the mix, we had Liberante and Jung Dongwon holding on with about 2.0% each. Names like Byeon Wooseok, crossover quartet Fortena, trot diva Song Gain, and K-pop legend Cho Yongpil also made appearances, showcasing the wide generational pull of the rankings.

Diverse Pickings in the Top 20

The bottom-tier of the Top 20 is no less fascinating: actress Lee Seyoung, alt-rock band Jannabi, rising actor Jung Subin, and even BLACKPINK’s Jennie showed the range of fan enthusiasm across genres—from musical legends to global girl group icons.

Is Hwang’s Reign Untouchable?

Though Hwang Youngwoong remains the clear favorite, there’s a growing momentum from newer contenders. October could be a turning point if Son Bina or Jung Seoju manage to close the gap. Keep your eyes on the “Son-Son Brothers” especially—who will break out next? The fans decide.
