From Yoyogi to Tokyo Dome: RIIZE’s Star-Studded Rise
K-pop rookie group RIIZE just closed out their first Japanese arena tour with an unforgettable three-day finale at Tokyo’s Yoyogi National Gymnasium—and let’s just say, fans weren’t ready.
Not only did they serve up powerhouse stages and intimate fan moments, but they also announced something major: their first-ever Tokyo Dome show is officially happening in February 2026. Yup, less than two years into their career, and they’re already booking one of Japan’s biggest venues. Legendary stuff.
A Conceptual Voyage That Stunned and Soared
Themed around a “voyage,” RIIZE’s RIIZING LOUD tour transformed the stage into an actual ship. With a bow-shaped LED screen parting to reveal the members—Shotaro, Eunseok, Seongchan, Wonbin, Sohee, and Anton—the show kicked off with atmospheric flair.
The first song, “Ember to Solar,” ignited the night with fiery visuals and a swift tempo. The energy didn’t dip as they launched into “Siren,” showing off their footwork and charisma amid siren-like alarms. Then came “Odyssey,” painting a dreamy, oceanic vibe, followed by the heartbeat-raising “Combo”—a mini showcase of their versatility in just four tracks.
Birthday Surprises and Fan Love Moments
Mid-show turned into a surprise birthday party for Seongchan, who turned 24 on September 13. During one of the songs, Shotaro flipped open a notebook that read, “Happy Birthday, Seongchan!” Cue the crowd’s cheer flood.
Later, during the encore, a cake appeared center stage as fans serenaded Seongchan with the full “Happy Birthday” song. “I really had no idea,” he said, smiling shyly. “I just want to keep having fun with the members.”
Fan-Chant Heaven: Japanese Originals and Emotional Highs
The members switched gears with lighthearted Japanese original tracks like “Be My Next” and “Lucky,” running around the stage, waving, and handing out high-level fan service. BRIIZE (RIIZE’s fandom name) returned the energy by singing back harmonies that left Sohee visibly impressed: “You guys have really improved!”
Other highlights included an atmospheric performance of “Midnight Mirage” and sweet little pairings during “Hug”—complete with shoulder leans and friendly hugs. And let’s not forget the soul-hitting “Love 119 (Japanese Ver.),” which turned the venue into one massive singalong session.
From Guitar Riffs to EXO Respects
The later half of the concert took it up a notch—Anton busted out an epic bass intro in “Get a Guitar,” paired with Wonbin’s guitar. They even paid homage to their SM Entertainment seniors by covering EXO’s “Monster” with fresh formation twists.
By the time “Fly Up”—lead track from their first full-length album ODYSSEY—hit, the members were drenched in sweat but still giving 110%. Even Wonbin, who had to sit out dancing due to illness, looked on proudly: “Watching everyone give their all is really moving.”
The Big Reveal: Tokyo Dome Is Happening
Near the end, Shotaro casually dropped a line that instantly sent BRIIZE into meltdown: “We have an important announcement…”
The screens lit up with their journey so far—and then, boom: 2026 RIIZE Concert Tour Special Edition in Tokyo Dome. The house shook. “Seriously?!” “No way!!” cried the members, visibly stunned themselves. Shotaro added, “We’ve finally been able to tell you. This is all thanks to you!”
RIIZE’s Sailing Into New Waters
The show wrapped with “One Kiss” and “Inside My Love,” a heartfelt thank-you to the fans who’ve stuck by them through every stop of their journey so far.
Shotaro said it best: “Today is a day we’ll never forget.” As they set sail toward Tokyo Dome, one thing’s for sure—this is just the beginning for RIIZE.
