Wings, Whiteness, and a Whole Lot of Wonder

K-pop rookie group TWS just dropped a new set of official photos for their upcoming 4th mini-album play hard—and they’re giving full fantasy.

On July 1st, their agency Pledis Entertainment revealed the “COMPACT Ver.” concept images, following the previously released “play mode Ver.” series. The new concept? Wings, purity, and a little sprinkle of dreamscape magic.

What’s With the Wings?

In the latest photos, the members are dressed in all-white—from crisp shirts to flowing fabrics—and wear feathered wings like fallen angels preparing to ascend. It’s a dramatic shift from their earlier youthful and athletic vibe, revealing a more ethereal, introspective side.

A Pledis rep explained, “This concept reflects TWS gradually maturing, chasing freedom. The wings represent the budding steps toward growth, capturing the flutter of excitement and curiosity that comes with it.”
